Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of OKNext — the website, the browser toolbar, and any related apps or services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, whether or not you create an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

OKNext is a page-discovery tool: you pick categories, press one button, and land on a page from our catalog. Anyone can browse as a guest; an account unlocks history, preferences, and (with OKNext Pro) an ad-free experience.

Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/EEA) to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
• Keep your account details accurate and your password secure. You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• One account per person. Don’t share, sell, or transfer your account.
• We may suspend, lock, or permanently close an account that violates these Terms, and we may block an email address or an entire domain from the Service (see below).

Acceptable use

When you use the Service — and especially when you submit a page — you agree not to:

• Submit, link to, or otherwise share content that is illegal, or that depicts or facilitates illegal acts.
• Submit, link to, or share child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any content that sexualizes minors, in any form. We have zero tolerance for this.
• Submit content that provides instructions for making weapons, explosives, or other items designed to cause harm, or that promotes or facilitates terrorism or mass violence.
• Submit spam, malware, phishing pages, scams, or pages designed to deceive or defraud.
• Submit content that harasses, threatens, defames, or exposes the private information of another person, or that impersonates someone.
• Submit content you don’t have the right to share, or that infringes someone else’s intellectual property.
• Attack, overload, probe, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; bypass rate limits or access controls; or scrape or automate the Service beyond ordinary personal use.
• Reverse-engineer, tamper with, or repackage the toolbar or apps except as the law expressly permits.

Enforcement and reporting

Every submitted page is reviewed — automatically and, before it goes live, by a human moderator. We may remove any page, reject any submission, disable any account, and block any email address or domain, at our discretion and without notice, to enforce these Terms.

Submitting prohibited content will get your account permanently banned. Where the content or conduct appears to be illegal, we will, as appropriate and as the law requires, preserve relevant records and report it to law enforcement. Child sexual abuse material is always reported to the appropriate authorities (such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in the United States) and law enforcement.

Pages you submit

• When you submit a page, you confirm you have the right to do so and that it doesn’t break these Terms.
• You grant OKNext a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, categorize, display, and distribute the URL and its public metadata (title, description) as part of the catalog, including showing it to other users. You keep whatever rights you already had in the underlying page.
• We’re not obligated to publish, keep, or keep showing any submitted page, and a page being in the catalog is not an endorsement of it.

The toolbar and apps

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the OKNext toolbar and any official apps to use the Service. They’re provided as they are; you can uninstall them at any time. The toolbar only does what our Privacy Policy describes — it doesn’t read the content of the pages you visit or track your activity on them.

Sponsored placements

On the Free plan, roughly one page in seven is a paid placement, matched to the categories you follow. Sponsored pages are labeled as such where shown. We don’t endorse sponsors or their pages, and we’re not responsible for their content, products, or claims. OKNext Pro removes sponsored placements.

Third-party pages

OKNext sends you to pages on websites we don’t own or control. We don’t endorse them and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, safety, or their own terms and privacy practices. You visit them at your own risk.

OKNext Pro and billing

OKNext Pro is a paid subscription billed through Stripe. It renews automatically until you cancel; you can cancel any time and keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable.

Intellectual property

The OKNext name, logo, software, category taxonomy, and the design and arrangement of the catalog are ours (or our licensors’) and are protected by law. These Terms don’t give you any right to use OKNext branding.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Discovery is inherently unpredictable — we don’t promise that any particular page, category, or type of content will be available, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OKNext and the people who work on it won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or any page you reach through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or end your access at any time for a violation of these Terms, or if we stop offering the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — acceptable use, reporting, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll change the date at the top, and for material changes we’ll give notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
